GPRS Settings
From Main Menu go to Connectivity > Select WAP Options> Select WAP Profiles > Select New Profile
- Name Safaricom GPRS
- Connect Using Select Edit and Select New Account
- Select GPRS/PS Data
- Name Safaricom GPRS
- APN/Access Point Name safaricom
- Username saf
- Password data
- Press Save
- Select Safaricom GPRS
- Connect Using Select Safaricom GPRS
- IP Address 172.022.002.038
- Press Save
Go back to WAP Profiles > Select Safaricom GPRS > Press More/Edit > Select Settings
- Connect Using Safaricom GPRS
- IP Address 172.022.002.038
- Press Save
- Go back to More and Select Advanced
- Change Homepage Select it
- Name Safaricom
- Address wap.safaricom.com
- Press Save
To Browse go to Internet Services > Select More > Home
MMS Settings
From Main Menu go to Connectivity > Select WAP Options> Select WAP Profiles > Select New Profile
- Name Safaricom MMS
- Connect Using Select Edit and Select New Account
- Select GPRS/PS Data
- Name Safaricom MMS
- APN/Access Point Name safaricom
- Username saf
- Password data
- Press Save
- Select Safaricom MMS
- Connect Using Select Safaricom MMS
- IP Address 172.022.002.038
- Press Save
Go back to WAP Profiles > Select Safaricom GPRS > Press More/Edit > Select Settings
- Connect Using Safaricom MMS
- IP Address 172.022.002.038
- Press Save
- Go back to More and Select Advanced
- Change Homepage Select it
- Name Safaricom
- Address mms.gprs.safaricom.com
- Press Save
Go to Menu > Messaging > Picture > Options
- Validity Period Maximum
- Read Report Off
- Delivery Report On
- Content Alert Off
- Message Server mms.gprs.safaricom.com
- WAP Profile Press Select and Choose Safaricom MMS
- Go to Messaging > WAP Push > Allow push > Always
Press Back twice
