Safaricom Internet Settings

So that your phone can access internet send a blank sms to 445. A message which contains internet settings will be sent to your phone. Select “Save“ from options to save all the Settings and you are now ready to browse  the web.
You can also enter manually the following settings,this internet settings work on almost all smartphone models.

Open the phone settings
Tap More
Cellular Networks
Access Point Names (APN)
Click Edit access point and enter the folloing settings.

APN type                leave it to default

Password                data      

You can leave the reset of the setting to default and click save
